VolunteerProgramDo you feel called to serve South Africa's most vulnerable children? Tremendous Hearts is now accepting applications for late 2011 and 2012! We are seeking volunteers whose professional skills include physical therapy, occupational therapy, psychological or pastoral counseling, accounting, fundraising, organizational development, medicine, public health, clinical social work, education and general administration. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. It is advisable to apply at least 6 months in advance of the desired start date. [PDF file] [Word Doc] Tremendous Hearts believes that anyone who has the desire and qualifications to serve should be able to volunteer regardless of their financial circumstances. Our ability to offer sponsorships will depend on the success of our fundraising. Available sponsorships will cover shared housing and transportation only, and will be awarded based on the applicant's need and qualifications. Sponsored volunteers will be responsible for covering their travel, immigration, medical, insurance, food, entertainment and other incidental expenses.
